Jay represents the Electro Elephant of the Beat Circus Big Top and has taken influence over many years from many genres when it comes to rocking the joint on a Saturday night. Thumping basslines and sexy electro rules his world. His weapon of choice 1200 MkII's. Jay's record box will give you a naughty lesson in acid house and memories from the days of the Hacienda! More importantly than Jay being the Electro filing in this tastiest of a Breaks Sandwich is the fact that he is doing what he loves with the people he loves the most (P, Russ, Faith n' Jo). Jay has travelled the UK and Balearic's with his ever expanding box of vinyl, a lot has been learnt along the way and many a hangover cure tested ... This guy really loves it! With a sharp mind and even sharper mixing fingers Russ has been a legend on the London, Brighton and Ibiza clubbing circuits for the past 8 years. His tune box used to contain the finer cuts of house and its dirtier sister-electro house, but that had to change when the originality of Beat Circus came about...... Now with a newly-found love and excellent selection of Nu School Breaks, Russ gets the whole dance floor smiling. Russ also enjoys nature programmes and a game of 'naked twister' at the weekend! Pete is a promotional genius! His knowledge of the music industry and what is needed to make it original equals his rapport and relations he has with the never-ending list of musicians that play at Beat Circus. Funboy was the man to walk past Buska boy Jim one fated lunchtime in June 2006 and have an epiphany, putting the energy of dirty beats with the eclectic mix of live jamming musicians. This is the soul of the Beat Circus experience. Pete thinks of the things people just don't think of, and that is what makes Pedro so special! He knows a good thing when he hears or sees it, and he just don't stop until the Beat Circus has it. Watch ya'self.......he's a cheeky little rascal and has a right ol' laugh! |

Faith is the glue that binds the Beat Circus Family together..... When the boys get themselves stuck between a rock and a hard place, Faith shimmies in and breaks us free! With a passion and forte for promotion, her strength is being truthful to the cause and what it takes for the world to know about it. Her musical ear is always highly tuned to the up and coming pioneers of breaks, electro and house, as well as finding new live talents to dip into the Beat Circus melting pot. Anyone looking for such business-minded female prowess and vigour must be at our next event - (she's the tall one dancing at the front, grin on her face, hands in the air). Why?......because you just gotta have Faith! |

Kate is a wee stooge to big ole beats & a meaty bass line or two, she also likes to create artwork, graphics & the like for the bright lights of Beat Circus. Since graduating with an illustration degree from the Arts Institute in Bournemouth in July 2003 she’s developed a high-spirited style & had a finger in a couple of creative pies creating mobile phone graphics, kid’s book illustrations, large scale canvases, t shirt & accessory designs as well as poster & flyer graphics.
